All Music GuideComposer John Ottman (X-Men 2, Gothika) turns the "noir" up to 11 on the moody soundtrack to director Shane Black's Robert Downey, Jr./Val Kilmer murder mystery Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Channeling the excellent work he did on 1995's The Usual Suspects, Ottman mixes some Henry Mancini in with his Bernard Herrmann, resulting in a score that's both spooky and irreverent, particularly during the film's "Main Titles." Downey provides the album closer with "Broken," a track from his 2004 solo album, Futurist.
