...I pieced this Joe Strummer album up a couple of months ago but couldn't throw the music on at the time...I can do so now and thanks to the miracles of the digital age, I got another copy in a configuration that allows me to do so (an extra pat of butter goes out to Blair, for the hook up)...which just goes to show, like it says on the mural that was painted in NYC's East Village, the future is unwritten...especially in the world of music... ...the review and vide... I am always fascinated and intrigued by seeing what song a director picks to play as the credits roll in his movie. I have never written a screenplay, or even come close, but I have had the Sparklehorse song "Sick Of Goodbyes" pegged as tune I want playing when the movie I never make fades to black and those credits start rolling. I'm so sad that Joe Strummer died before I could see him live with the Mescaleros. He is a truly great musician and one of the best, if not the best, punk composer. The Strummer / Mick Jones tandem was powerful and The Mescaleros were on the rise in popularity. Favorite Mescaleros Song: Coma Girl
