It seems very difficult to determine just what it is about a song and the methods of particular artists that makes them so viscerally enjoyable, at times. R. Kelly is an artist by whom many slow jams that I find simply *delectable* have been composed. So far, one of the only other artists whose slow jams have done anything for me on that level has been the Isley Brothers. Why? I have. No. Idea....
...like my man R. Killy. Forget the fact that I love this song. Ignore the fact that this is just a great groove. Check out the ASS on Joe's leading lady in this one. That very first shot when she walks up to his door, and the camera scans up from her legs to that GLORIOUS ba-dunk-a-dunk! LAWD, HELP ME!!! This woman wouldn't be safe around me. You might wanna watch this one full screen!

Alright, Joe is one of the few...if not the ONLY person that could make a sappy love song like this and make it one of my favorite jams. Easily the most under-rated, under-appreciated singer/songwriter in R&B.
Is it me, or is this one of the most slept on albums ever? It's very seldom that I find an R&B album that I'll play front to back, over and over (only this, Usher's last album and Maxwell's first couple come immediately to mind). Good love songs. A little racy when it needs to be. He even gives *NSync a play long before JT became the black (errr...white?) sheep of R&B. Classic album right ...
