I've never seen Jim Jones step out of his super thug playboy persona, so seeing him getting choked up on TV came as a surprise. Jones appeared on BET's 106 n park and spoke briefly about his uncles and father who caught the HIV virus through sharing needles. It was a nice addition to BET's coverage of world AIDS week. It would be cool if Jones spoke on issues like these more often to the hip hop generation, but he didn't seem too comfortable with it.
