Jets to Brazil sat at the top of my favorite list for a long time, and they still do. I don't know the story of JTB, so I won't pretend to write about it like so. What I do know is that they made three great albums, "Four-Cornered Night," "Orange Rhyming Dictionary," & "Perfecting Loneliness," the latter which I have come to feel is a part of me. Jets to Brazil is one band that every collection should include, and have readily available to listen to often. If you are familiar at all with the band Jawbreaker then you will recognize immediately the intensity that Blake Schwartzenbach brings to both bands. I find therapy and solace in JTB's songs...i hope you do too.
