Well, it's not really a proper rock song (there are traces of the traditional verse-chorus-etc structure, but you can't really point at "the chorus"), but it pretty much contains EVERYTHING I like about rock music. On stage David Yow was a drunken, shirtless, cowboy-boot-stomping, slurred-speech wreck. It sounds like the kind of guy I hate to be near - especially at a show. But at Jesus Lizard shows, when they were still around and I was in my early twenties, I would press myself against the stage to be close to him and I would gaze up at him and smile--exhilarated. I love the faded tape sound quality. It makes this crazed song sound even better to my ears.

Well the exam is done, and I'm feeling confident and also quite relaxed. I now have my weekends and evenings back. That pile of vinyl is demanding to be transfered onto Ipod - and it will happen! However for now I'm drifting back, listening to some live Black Flag and also the Jesus Lizard... Found this on You Tube and its quite appropriate for my memories of a great and unique band.
