Well, this is it. For any Jens fan who also reads blogs that post about the Black Cab Sessions , getting Jens to croon this tune for the series was always to be the apex of punny possibilities. We couldn't resist mentioning it when Death Cab played for Black Cab , and according to the note that accompanies this performance, neither could the BCS's entire audience in most every piece of fan mail...
In a recent post on his personal blog, Swedish indie pop goofball Jens Lekman recounted meeting with actress and rookie director Drew Barrymore:There's a few of my songs in Drew Barrymore's directorial debut Whip it. Drew was really nice, she flew me out to LA, we had a cup of coffee and she showed me some clips from the movie. Usually I say no to film synchs because you just get a short synops...

From his Jens Lekman's blog: I picked home one last souvenir from South America, it's called the H1N1 virus. Wrongfully known as the Swineflue. I was crossing the Atlantic when things started getting really bad, the fever was hallucinogenic and shaking me like a leaf and I grabbed the sleeve of the Air France steward. "I'm not feeling well, I should see a doctor" I said and the reply came as a ...

[06-02-2009] I have a confession to make: I used to not like Jens Lekman. I used to think his voice was forced and that his instrumentation was overbearing. As the friend with whom I attended this show used to say, I didn't have a soul. Luckily, I've recently changed, and now I love his music. I say “luckily” because seeing Jens Lekman has made me a happier person. I thought Tig Notaro would b
