I don't know many, but licking the new Jenny Lewis album might leave you naked, mumbling and shivering in a corner for the next thirty years. I wanna say it, dubbed Acid Tongue, is dropping September 23rd (that September 23rd release date is getting jam-packed!) but I think its more appropo to say you should drop the album that day. No rabbits were harmed for the making of this album. Rilo Kiley fans now have a little something to fuel their fire. As a follow-up to the Watson Twins tinged "Rabbit Fur Coat", Jenny Lewis has just announced the details to her second solo album dubbed "Acid Tongue." Jenny Lewis is working on her second solo album and word on the street is that it features loads of collaborators and guest vocalists. Some of the names being dropped are Zooey Deschanel, M.Ward (She & Him perhaps?), Elvis Costello, Johnathan Rice and Chris Robinson (Black Crowes). Rilo Kiley singer honoured for putting Silver Lake on the musical map Jenny Lewis has been named Pioneer Woman' by the Los Angeles City Council. I just saw Jenny Lewis and the Watson twins last Saturday at the key arena in Seattle, and they were phenomenal. I've never heard anything by them before the show, but i knew Jenny from Rilo Kiley.
But any ways, the preformance was great, and i defidently recomend everyone to run out and buy their album immediatly!!

Jenny Lewis...man, the girl is really something. She KILLS in this performance from the Conan O'Brien show last week. (It's good enough to rid the troubled mind of Crap Your Pants Say Yuck!) So: you click - you watch - you love!
An immensely talented singer/songwriter, and pretty damn cute to boot. I cannot wait to see her next month at the 9:30 Club in D.C. with the Watsons.
She's like an indie boy's Dusty Springfield.
