By now, you've all heard about the fabled, mind-boggling soundtrack to the new Dylan biopic _I'm Not There_. Well, a couple tracks have made their way to the movie's MySpace page, and I am impressed. Actually....my jaw is around here somewhere. Let me see... Oh here it is, on the floor. Be sure to check out Jeff Tweedy - Simple Twist Of FateJim James and Calexico - Goin' To AcapulcoCat Power - Stuck Inside Of Mobile (with the Memphis blues again)Sufjan Stevens - Rin... MORE
Possibly one of the best songwriters of my generation (can i say that?) as far as pop and folk/country go. Pablo started a great forum for musicians in Nashville to write about what inspires their writing and performing. It's called Stalking The Muse. Y'all should check it out.... MORE

We all need an anthem every now and again don't we? At least I know I do...this one is mine at the moment...i have a date with the road less traveled...
Jeff Tweedy continues his excellence as he puts out his first batch of bearded uncle campfire songs. In his new DVD "Sunken Treasure" he runs through both Wilco and Uncle Tupelo classics as well as a few new gems. One of those that sticks out to me is "The Thanks I Get". Tweedy is having fun with this song and it is evident. If anyone has seen the Wilco documentary "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart", Jeff Tweedy certainly came off as a moody bastard who is hard to be ar... MORE
