...This one is my all time favorite...and it isn't easy picking a favorite from all the great songs he's done...but this would be it.
I was in Paris a few years ago, and was walking in the Luxembourg Gardens, and there was a statue of St. Genevieve...and Jay was right: she didn't bother..

When I first put up my MOG page, under "Artists You Should Know About," I put Jay Farrar....Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, and onward.. But I didn't post any of his stuff, and when I checked just now, neither has anyone else (except dandy lion...one song from Sebastapol). So in the spirit of giving back, and because I love Jay Farrar so much, here's one of his most recent. This one is with Anders Parker, and they call themselves Gob Iron, on the album Death Songs For The Living
It's nice to have a Summer Theme Song. I pick this one. Turn it on and let the long lazy days of Summer begin. Make sure you push play on the rolling bar thingy right below this post: not the little circular button...it has the wrong song. :(
