Here is an interesting rock mystery. Who is Jandek? Nobody really knows for sure. Some say he a musician living in the Houston area. Some say Jandek is a group that keeps its secrets well kind of like the Residents (in fact the mystery is a lot like the Residents and the early days of Ralph Records). It seems fellow Mogger fistula spume has had as he describes, "a minor freakout this weekend."
I picked track this because it is a good pound your fist on the steering wheel, step on a flower, scowl whenever you want, play loud, break a paint brush in two kind of song.

As is the case with most cloudy/foggy mornings here in the Bay Area, the blue sky's beginning to show itself and it's 11 AM. Purchased at Amoeba SF yesterday, Jandek's new, absurdly dreamy double-disc set, Glasgow Monday (The Cell), is becoming less appropriate listening the more the fog burns off; hoping tomorrow has a similar grey vibe so I can feel good about spinning the second half. For the uninitiated, Jandek is a musical world unto himself. So I just bought tickets to see Jandek at Tonic (I think it is at Tonic). I'm hella excited. I have no idea what to expect. I know, I could listen to a live show or something, but I prefer the mystery of the documentary. It's a good watch, for those marginally interested. I still cannot believe I am going to see Jandek. WTF?!
