Yesterday evening (03/06/08) my husband and I paid a visit to The Troubadour Club in Earls Court, London to see Jacob Golden perform his final gig of the UK leg of his tour. Jacob Golden is a mellow breeze in music winding from LA. A breeze wrapping us gently all around hand in hand with the biting lyrics- as large as life. This is a very underrated singer-songwriter from Sacramento in the States.I picked up this record when I was in New York last March.I had it a couple of years ago but lost it when moving out somewhere along the line. I remember when I first bought it and loved the delicate and uplifting vocals, it came out in the UK around the same time as The Flaming Lips 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots'. OK, so I’m terrible at keeping up a blog of any sort, but I’ll give it a shot. This may be my one and only entry if history repeats.
