As I write this, I am technically a day late (though by no means a dollar short). February 7, 2008: J Dilla, Jay Dee, would have been 34. Donuts came out on this day in 2006 as well, and I bought it from Amoeba on that very day, completely unaware of what it would do to and for me as a music listener.
