Interpol comes to Paradiso, and the gig was sold out in three hours. Luckily, I got my tickets within the first five minutes, so I'm gonna be there. And I'm stoked, stoked I tell ya! No, but really, terribly looking forward to it. So to me Interpol is one of the greatest bands out there right now, but have you seen their new video for the Heinrich Maneuver? (If not you can watch it below, how nice!) I love the song but I've watched it a few times and just haven't gotten much of anything out of it. Anyone care ot elaborate?

i think it's so funny that someone in my german class (haha) has the name heinrich. and then i explained to my class there's a song called "the heinrich maneuver" and some wiseass was like 'no that's heimlich maneuver' and i said 'no no no they cleared that up on the radio, they specifically said the heinrich maneuver.'

I'm more than happy to say that Interpol, one of my favorite bands of this decade, are back and just as strong as ever, with some spring in their step and a shiny new Jazzmaster for lead singer Paul Banks. Case and Point? The brand new single, "The Heinrich Maneuver." It recalls tracks like "Slow Hands" and "C'mere," though there's something of a departure here. This is more than a procedure that can save anyones' life, it's the new song of Interpol.
In my opinion is not Interpol's best song ever, however I remember the funny effect that Antics has on me, I bought it as soon as it was on the stores, then I listened a couple of times, and then I put it away after two months I played it again and I love it.
This is a long waited album, in a era where if you do not have a new album every year you are outdated.
