Inara George, of the Bird and the Bee, has a new solo album coming out tomorrow, 8/12. She's extremely talented. Her late father was the lead from Little Feat. Why is it that talent does seem to run in families? I guess genes do have an effect. No, not those jeans.

This woman has one of the most soothing and poetic means of musicianship that I have ever heard. She's wonderful and I got the chance to see her live in the spring of '06 in a really intimate venue and she completely took me by suprise.
