Another Austin artist that I love...they are slowly catching on, or seem to be. I like the acoustics on how they recorded the record, and they're all super talented.
A bit gothy and a little "I love Satan" but nonetheless superb.

Not much to add here today. I finally put together my new class schedule and will be waking up at some godforsaken hour in order to head into the city to make cartoons. Just the name - I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness - was enough to get me listening, and but once I gave this Austin band's latest album, Fear Is On Our Side, a listen, I was hooked. Atmospheric with reference to Joy Division and early Echo and the Bunnymen, these guys record for one of my favorite indie labels, Secretly Canadian.
