Just like Radiohead, Interpol, and Muse...I can see the talent and i would never begrudge anyone liking them, but these bands do nothing for me. Wherea...

For some reason I've had this song in my head the past couple of days. I think it's because I mentioned INXS in that post I made the other day about band lineup changes.I still love this song. I forgot how much I still love this song until just the other day.The Doc Martens in the video have me feeling nostalgic. I think I'll wear a pair of my Docs to knitting group tomorrow.

In a case of an artist getting back to their roots, Australian rockers INXS have kicked singer J.D. Fortune out of the band - leaving him broke and homeless. The Canadian artist, real name Jason Dean Bennison, was chosen as the replacement for late rocker Michael Hutchence after winning a reality TV search in 2005. However, after completing a world tour with the New Sensation hit-makers, 35-year...

5. Keep SearchingIf you’ve seen the music doco Falling Light there’s a great line in it from Jeff Buckley’s mother where she says, “I have a picture in my mind that was actually a metaphysical image. That the body of my son was not the speck of dust they pulled out of the Wolf River but the body of his work.”It makes me think back to when Michael Hutchence sang “I Am Searching” with

Last year, INXS unceremoniously (at least by some reports) rid themselves of Canadian singer J.D. Fortune who had joined the band after winning a reality show. At this point, there is no new lead singer but that hasn't stopped the group from entering the studio. They are rerecording many of their best songs with the help of a variety of lead vocalists, including Rob Thomas, Brandon Flowers of...

Here's another one, this one's a good song, great song in fact. The instrumental bridge about 4 minutes in is total suspended chord cadence, and it works great!I'm getting a bit over this now, this is the last V-IV-I cadence post, I'm sure you get the idea lol.

Some pretty funky 80's dancing in this video."I'm drunk! Can't see my glass." Oh, those lyrics from yesteryear. I wore out two cassette tapes of the album Shabooh Shoobah in my early generation auto-reverse in-dash car stereo. It was one of the first CD's I bought when it came out in that format.
