After gaining acclaim with The Warning, Hot Chip returns with their third release Made In The Dark. Filled with a great mix of songs, it's a worthy follow-up to their breakthrough album.

Hi hi hi - I'm back on line... Just a contrasting track for you... I love the early 80s opening sound (reminds me of cheesy Americana bands from that period), and love the way it swings into ragga.. These guys are sickeningly talented. The varying styles mesh together really well, I think. And oh, those guitars......

This track bangs like a freakin' shed door in the wind; I really really dig the middle eastern influence in it... It's been my party dance track of the weekend. Brilliant. Contrasting track to follow but this LP is a gorgeous journey.. (only managed to pick it up on Friday but it's been on my player non stop)... I also feel that the diversity and depth of Hot Chip is really shown in this LP; it's almost certainly their best to date moving them up another notch in musical... MORE

The new Hot Chip album MADE IN THE DARK is sharp, stunning, exciting, terrific...yes, all of the above! It's this year's SOUND OF SILVER. I couldn't decide between uploading "Shake A Fist" or "Hold On"...but "Hold On" won out. =)
