This is one of my favorite songs of all-time. I don't think they ever really made much of a dent in the US but they were so good. Were they big in Britain? Was it because he didn't look like Michael Hutchence? I guess men can suffer from sexism as well. "all my friends are dead or their dying" i have yet to get sick of this song.

I was listening to the Hoodoo Gurus' album Stoneage Romeos today. It’s a fine mod-'80s rock album, in retrospect not especially "new wave."
