I went to a Heart concert about a month and a half ago, and it was one of the highlights of my life. Ironically, I'm generally into Heart's mellower songs, but they played almost nothing but their heavier stuff, and I couldn't be happier. They played Alone & These Dreams, which were excellent, but when Barracuda started, I about lost my mind. (Followed up by Crazy On You, buahaha). What amazes me is that at 55 and 52, respectively, Ann and Nancy can still rock! ... MORE

Heart had a good run in the late 1970s. They went from psychedlic blues rock to hard rock and dabbled with new wave before starting to unravel. An album released near the end of that run, 1982's "Private Audition," received little attention and at the time was dismissed as a weak successor to what had come before it. One more album was released for Epic Records before the band signed with Capitol and morphed into a horrific 1980s hairdo band, squawking Diane Warren tunes and ... MORE

Went to the Heart show tonight - sound was a little iffy but damn those betches can rawk! Barracuda, These Dreams, and two Zep covers were the highlights for sure.
