Here's an old video of Seattle's son, Sean Nelson and his band Harvey Danger. This is soooo Sean. Don't you wish a crappy Christmas would turn out like this?
Merry Christmas, my friends.
Yep, I failed to post my weekly re-release. 3 web design projects, all coming to a close in the next 4 or 5 days have de-railed me for the moment, but normal service will resume next Thursday :)
Something else that I've been doing is working on my first commissioned pieces of music! It was for a short film about tramps, called 'Castaway'. All is done and it seems to have been very well received :) I am now officially a paid musician. I feels good. Like another step forward.... MORE

Here's a bit from their latest release. I think that was back in 2005. You may all remember them from their hit, Flagpole Sitta' back in '97.
If you go here, go can download the entire album free of charge! Pretty sweet deal if you ask me...
Go see how they've matured since "flagpole sitter". You can get this album free at their site, harveydanger.com.

Typically when a band breaks up I'm under the strict opinion that, even if they were great and it's sad to see them go, they should stay broken up. If you're able to get closure after they split then it's even harder to welcome them back if they do get back together. Band reunions just tend to come off as awkward or forced half the time and any post-split recording often vanish as fast as the band's credibility. There have been bands that have split and gotten back togethe... MORE
This is a post from Oct 2005 from my old blog. Enjoy Harvery Danger has always been one of my favorite bands. Beyond Flagpole Sitta, their entire first album is a heart wrenching journey into the soul of the modern hipster. Poignant, witty, completly invisible. They dropped off the face of the earth faster than that guy who owes Vinny No-Nose 30 large. And after listening to their new album, which they released free on the internet, I don't think that was a bad thing. Th... MORE
