I love film scores, and pretty much any film scored by Hans Zimmer is going to sound like the most epic thing you've ever heard.
If you have not yet heard the wonderful Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks (1-3) the theme originally composed by Klaus Badelt (in a matter of 30 days no less), then you are missing out. Take the time to listen to this track, Zimmer added another beautiful theme to the 3rd movie that should not go unheard!
But not far from it. The score to the new Simpsons movie was not composed by the same person who did the theme song (Danny Elfman, of Oingo Boingo fame), but rather by Hans Zimmer (synth player from...the Buggles).
WTF, mate?
I'm having issues with how much I love the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Like high level functioning obsession. As such of course, grabbed the soundtrack, which only makes it worse cause it's great. The fucking cello piece "Jack Sparrow" alone makes it worth the listen as it rocks and coupled with "The Kracken", I will confess to being a hoor for Electric Guitar + pipe organ (which goes back to my Andrew Lloyd Webber youth, don't ask) and the random ass Tiesto house ...
