All Music GuideHank Locklin & Danny Davis & the Nashville Brass is an awkward fusion of Locklin's pure country with brass bands. A few of the tracks -- namely "Blue Moon of Kentucky," "Laura (What's He Got That I Ain't Got)," "Once a Day," and the hit single "Flying South" -- work, but many of the songs, particularly "Please Help Me, I'm Falling," sound overburdened with horns.
