Use Your Illusion II is more serious and ambitious than I. Featuring no less than four songs that run over six minutes, II is heavy on epics, whether it's the charging funk metal of "Locomotive," the antiwar "Civil War," or the multi-part "Estranged."
Bassist Tommy Stinson's injury has forced Guns N' Roses to cancel their appearance at South Africa's biggest outdoor rock event.As a side note, I can’t be the only one who found it hilarious that Guns N’ Roses-- they of fantastic 1980’s narcotic excess-- were playing an event called My Coke Fest.More info here.
