Chances are you've already coughed up your email address to get a "free" copy of Radiohead's In Rainbows or a free single from Coldplay, The Raconteurs - only some of the bands in the past year that have offered a song from a new album for $0 via their Web site. I got the new Gomez track "Airstream Driver" just this week that way. It's 2009 and the record business is in shambles. Everyone from...

First he sampled Band of Horse's "Funeral" on "The Prayer" and now he's jumped on LCD Soundsystem's nu-classic "Someone Great." It makes me cringe to hear Cudi say "pop that pussy hole" over [...]

Groove Armada's Lovebox festival hit Dublin over the weekend. The one day event also featured Toots and the Maytals, Super Furry Animals, The Rapture, and a whole gaggle of DJs. Of course, the day belonged to Groove Armada in more ways than one. They blew the crowd away. So much so, I didn't get one half-decent photo of them. Oh well. Here's some I did get: DJ Andy Smith of Portishead and frien...

Found this on Pitchfork's blog. It's the as-yet-unreleased video for Groove Armada's new single, "Get Down" from their new album, "Soundboy Rock". I SO cannot wait for this album to come out. The video, in line with my quest for cool animated videos, is really funny and well animated. I couldn't tell the bunnies weren't real for a second until they started dancing. It's a little too smooth for ...

Many of you recognize the band Groove Armada as the 90's band that had all of you singing "I See You Baby, Shaking That Ass." They are one of the few 90's bands still around and have just dropped a new album Soundboy Rock and it's dopeeeeeeeee. The first track is "The Girls Say" and it features the talented Rhymefest. The next track is a smooth track that has a nice feel to it. "Feel The Same" ...
