Does no one want to see Good Charlotte headline a concert? We ask because Good Charlotte, who have sold almost 10 million copies of 2004 album The Chronicles of Life and Death will join Justin Timberlake on the road as openers beginning August 15th, Timberlake's first show of two at NYC's Madison Square Garden. Here's a brash statement: I miss the old Good Charlotte. Not saying they made amazing music, but i grew up to their self-titled album. I miss this GC. I miss the funny, fun loving, outcasts from Waldorf, MD. They're so celebrity now. Well, at least the Madden twins are. I mean, come on... Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton? I'm sad to say that Good Charlotte was the band that I lost my concert virginity to. I hated their music then, and I hate it now. I only went because my brother was obsessed with them and I didn't want to sit home alone all night. We ended up having a good time, or as good a time as you can have while wanting to press yourself against the amps and pray that you go deaf. I'm not a BIG fan on Good Charlotte. I could actually say I hate them but I won't. This blog is for me to express my view on songs of my choice. And this song; it's simple, it's fun, and it's truthful for any Junior High kid or even High School kid.
