To batter down this touch of writers block allow some free association what makes vinyl so collectible some tiny corner of my brain actually thought i was keeping a lot of this stuff because that is the only way i would be able to hear it again not fully grocking the massive master libraries all the media companies have accumulated the only reason now is i am too cheap or broke to replace all this stuff with digital anyway so much of it doesn't even appeal to my ear... After they split from 10cc, Godley and Creme tried to make a go of their mechanical guitar effect "gizmo" by showcasing it on the triple "Consequences" lp, but electronics were catching up just too quick. The device mounted to the guitar and little nylon wheels capable of varying speeds "played" the strings. It did not make the biggest splash. And now, 10cc's hit machine was shut down.
