...here's another very fine cover, this time Glenn Mercer one-time front man for the Feelies giving a little respect where it's due to George Harrison.
Mercer's got a fantastic album out this year called Wheels in Motion which, believe it or not, is his very first solo outing.
There's an interview in the works but he is, of course, not as flashy as PJ Harvey or Devendra Banhart so god knows when it will run.
The Feelies, one of the great, underappreciated college rock bands will not be reforming any time soon...but you can catch frontman Glenn Mercer and a few ex-Feelies compadres promoting Mercer's first-ever solo album Wheels in Motion on WFMU's Three Chord Monte this afternoon sometime between 12 and 3 p.m. EDT.
