I haven't even had chance to listen to this yet, but considering that Gilles Peterson Digs America was one of the best soul/jazz comps of the last few years I can't believe that this will be anything other than great.
If you've already heard it, let me know what it's like - otherwise I'll try to pop back to let you know what I think.

I'm in the midst of one of those exciting/overwhelming moments where I come upon a virtual treasure palace of music I wasn't that aware of. Alright, lets get this straight. I hate Gilles Peterson. Not because he's an asshole (maybe he is, I don't know) but because he is just too good at what he does. I mean his tastes are impeccable (mostly), he's got any rare groove DJ's dream job - an internationally syndicated radio show on BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/gillespeterson/), plus he gets paid to go to places like Brazil and Africa and find the best music you've never heard and make a compilation out of it...
