Seriously. Is there a quota? Because I have a new one: Ghostland Observatory.I caught this power duo from Austin at Lollapalooza on the recommendation of "Librarianguish":http://mog.com/Librarianguish as did "zeroskilz":http://mog.com/Zeroskilz, who flew this weekend to Seattle to catch GLO at a sold out show. Librarianguish joined us as well as my good buddy Jaye.First off: the show was am...

Ghostland ObservatoryThey are EXCELLENT and HIGHLY CREATIVE and a breath of fresh air in an era of cynicism.I always Tivo Austin City Limits. On the show they played after Bloc Party and I fell in love with the group right away. Every time I listen to their music I like it better and better. After seeing the show on my Tivo, my buddy bought three Ghostland Observatory CDs today and we listen...

Looked for clips but none do it justice. These guys brought it. Rockin' guitar riffs, and 2 guys in the whole band. Amazing light show. Reminded me of Spiritualized. Look out for them.

A Night Out in the Sad, Sad City with Ghostland Observatory

Pop those buds in your ears and jam to some Ghostland Observatory and tune in and turn out. I've left my late night physics class on many occasion and while walking the streets to the hospital Sad Sad City just blares. It puts me in such a peppy mood, I wish I could just turn...

Walking across the feild to the at&t blue room to see "I love you but I've chosen darkness", I stop in my tracks behind a crowd, and a glorious sound. My eyes meet the stage with a rather androgenous character, a subject my husband, and I debated, during the next song pause. I proclaimed male"triumphantly" right I was. Look at the photo there was some room for confusion, from where we were stan...

I have no clue on where to start! I have so much music that I listen to and have mixed feelings about. Most that I love! Some I hate to love. There is something about the last two years that has me listening to more electronic music though. I'm not sure what triggered it. Or why i'm so into it because a lot of it can get real cheesy and annoying. Maybe it has a lot to do with being a teenager in...
