Martin Scorsese will direct a documentary on the life of George Harrison, Variety is reporting. I haven't seen Mike Myers The Love Guru yet, but couldn't miss the unusually high volume of billboards popping up on sites. The word is Meyers' satire is too nice to have real teeth, yet rehashes stereotypes that aren't leaving Hindus laughing, or anyone else who found it not so much anti-Hindu as "antifunny, an experience that makes you wonder if you will ever laugh again." -A.O. Another track from Jools Hollands Big Band Rhythm & Blues cd, and as I mentioned previously, the last track recorded and _completed_ by George Harrson before his death.
A very fine cd for anyone who loves good music played well. An impressive array of guests get to strut their stuff in a project that IMHO is two cuts above the usual result of such concepts.

Well, Here we are, New Year's Day. I'm up early 'cause I cannot sleep late in the morning, no matter what the night before entailed. But truth be told Wifey & I spent the eve sippin' wine, listenin' to good music & playin' scrabble. (I know, we are party animals.) So this track is from George Harrison's "Dark Horse" cd. Terry Gilliam, of Monty Python and Baron Munchausen fame, reveals an interesting perspective in an upcoming TMC documentary about his work. He credits George Harrison, of Beatles fame, with rescuing "Monty Python's The Life of Brian" during filmmaking in 1979. Uncut news reported Terry Gilliam's commentary:
