Front 242 is a pioneering Belgian electronic music group that came into prominence during the 1980s. During their most active period (effectively ending in 1993 with the albums 06:21:03:11 UP EVIL and 05:22:09:12 OFF) they influenced many industrial and electronic artists. The scene: my basement office. Front 242's 1988 album "Front By Front" is one of the pillars of industrial music, and while its a great listen straight thru, "Headhunter" is unquestionably the standout track, the "hit" Front 242 is most known for. The video was done by Anton Corbjin, who has done most of Depeche's Mode's most interesting visuals, so although it's a bunch of Belgian (thanks Dale) guys walking around sparse industrial landscapes eating eggs, it might seem a little familiar.
