liked what i heard and have liked everything else that i have come across
she reminds me of a funky Joni Mitchell. give her a shot.

I just got the promo CD for Frid Hyvonen's new CD and it's WAY cool. Most of it is just vocals and piano, which is not something I'm usually into, but this grabbed me immediately. The occasional horn line, back-up vocal or rythm section creeps in and you go "damn, that's a great arrangement". Basically, it's 30 minutes of awesome.
The album comes out on 10/24, so I'm sure you'll hear me speak of this again.
