Adam Schlesinger To Write For The Colbert Report
over 1 year ago

No, not as a joke writer. But Adam Schlesinger does continue to write awesome songs for fun things. Adding to his resumé as Oscar, Golden Globe, Tony, and of course Grammy nominated songwriter, the Fountains Of Wayne singer-guitarist revealed to Paste he will pen tunes for The Colbert Report 's Christmas Special. The whole album is great, including similarly peppy tunes like "Peace and Love." But Fountains also lets us see the mellow side

They were fully electrified, but the music was nearly incomprehensible and much too loud. I knew what they were playing, as I own all of their releases and love this band. My poor wife was not so lucky and was not impressed. The only time I really e...
