All Music GuideFlaco, son of El Flaco, is the second generation of accordion players in his family (his son is now an up-and-comer). There was a time when the fringes of the rock world flirted with him. But here he plays the righteous border sound, with some fancier flourishes and more Anglo touches than the men of his father's era. These are classic polkas, rancheras, corridos (including one on Hurricane Beulah and his father's great "Mojado sin Licensia").
