I don't know much about this guy. I read a couple of good reviews so I got the Cd and discovered that I really enjoyed it. It reminds me a bit of Tindersticks, really understated but with a melody that softly and deftly works its way into your brain. Nice stuff. Here's a review from NME:Like a gap-year student dreamily backpacking his way around Europe with nothing but an acoustic guitar, Fin...

"Fink" is the stage name of Finian Greenhall, a one time electronica whiz turned acoustic singer songwriter from Bristol, England (not to be confused with a German metal band of the same name).Despite the drastic change in style, his label retained him to release several albums (and counting) in the new style. Wise decision. He has a warm, compelling tone and writes great songs. He's great l...

I’ve always loved Fink -- since I first heard his debut album back in 2005 I’ve been hooked on his sound, his voice and his outlook on music.I’ve seen Fink live three times and as some of you may know -- his music requires near complete silence because it’s so gentle. In most cases his music [...]

Fin Greenall AKA Fink released his rather decent third LP back in May titled 'Sort Of Revolution' (our review can be seen HERE) and just recently, a video was shot for the title track of that exact record. The song is the perfect choice for a single and works with a simple acoustic guitar, a scoop of uplifting percussions and Fin's fantastic vocals.

A D. J, a producer and an artist: Fink a. k. a Fin Greenall is a busy man indeed. He circles the realms of dub as a D. J, produces dance albums when he sees fit, and has slowly morphed his solo singing career into a wonderfully acoustic endeavour which is highlighted fantastically with this Sort of Revolution.

Sort of Revolution is even more pared back and softly spoken Jeff Buckley-style than Fink's previous folk outings and therefore serves as an audacious riposte to the current vogue in pop excess.

Track:Dub it All
Fink "Dub It All (Sideshow Sees It All In Dub)": Not often that I get some true dub, and after skimming through Dub Echoes recently, I had to post this. "See It All" is the second single from Fink's Sort of Revolution album on Ninja Tune. One thing I did not realize (or maybe I forgot) was that Sideshow is Fink's dub alias, which has been getting tunes signed alongside Appleblim and Martyn. Thi...
