Actually, I mean the term "Mog" in popular culture. For me, it first comes up in Spaceballs (The Movie). John Candy's character, Barf, explains that he's "a mog. Half-man, half-dog, I'm my own best friend." Then in Final Fantasy III (FFVI - Jpn), the leader of the furry cat/bear/koala clan of mythical organisms happens to be named "Mog."
