Aaah.. memories... such sweet sweet kiddie memories...
Catch Feist singing 1,2,3,4 in Sesame Street Season 39. Oh how she loves counting! But unfortunately, we all know her deepest darkest secret--skipping 7 and 8...
While it may not be a totally new concept, Feist appeared on none other than the Sesame Street recently. As usual, she changed up the lyrics to fit the show and the result was nothing short of great. Sometimes it pays to have a 2 year old who likes to watch cookie monster.
There are a long line of Cameo's on Sesame Street and Feist is the newest addition to this gang. In someways, the song, with it's nursery rhyme cadence has even more lighthearted than the original.

You thought you were finally done hearing Feist's "1,2,3,4" when the iPod commercials finally stopped airing huh? Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids. Feist will be appearing on the 39th season premiere of Sesame Street with a new rendition of the song.
The video of the performance is the cutest thing you'll see all day...I promise. However, I'm glad I don't have kids, because they'd probably play it over and over until I jumped out of the window.
Troubadour Leslie Feist, better known as just Feist may have lost the Grammy for Best New Artist to Amy Winehouse earlier this year, but you ain't gonna be seeing Amy Winehouse on Sesame Street any time soon. On the other hand Feist will reportedly be appearing on the long-running children's program singing her The Reminder hit "1234" and a duet with Elmo she especially wrote for the fuzzy and ticklish little red dude. No air date has been announced. This isn't the fir... MORE
A few weeks ago, I got a call from my father-in-law. When he calls me, it can be only one of two things: either he needs help with his laptop, or he has a music question. This time, it was the latter, to my relief. This time, he had seen the following commercial, and wanted to know if I knew who was singing that song. I told him that, yes indeed, I did know the artist in question, and even had her most recent album. I then offered to burn him a copy of The Remi... MORE
Hey, I'm nothing if not a bandwagon kind of guy. Therefore, here is my little mash using Feist 1234 to illustrate a few points about Web 2.0. Silly really...images from my place of employment...won't mean anything except to my co-workers! What the hell. It was fun.
I just had to post this clip.............COME ON!!!
Since Michael Goldberg mentioned this I've been waiting to see it.
Last night Feist was on Letterman, along with members of the Broken Social Scene collective, Grizzly Bear, The National, Mates of State, the New Pornographers, and BSS. I found this video on Pitchfork. =)
Awesome...glad i stayed up for it...the 'band' is made of members of Grizzly Bear, Broken Social Scene, New Pornographers, Mates Of State...have fun playing 'wheres waldo - the hipster edition'
My musical fast continues, but will be broken tomorrow night. Sensing my pain and anguish, I have been sent tickets to go and see Ms Leslie Feist play in Manchester tomorrow night. Hopefully, this will kickstart my music listening again. I've heard a couple of her songs, but don't really know her material that well. If all goes to plan, I shall be back tomorrow night with a review and photos... If not, you'll get a review of the Danish bar across the road from the ... MORE
