Blending New Orleans style R&B piano with enough pop swing to appeal across the board, helped in no small part by his warm, easy vocal style, Fats Domino was a literal hit machine for Imperial Records in the late 1950s and early '60s. This two-disc, 60-track set features a big chunk of the material that he recorded for Imperial between 1950 and 1957 when Fats was working with producer Dave Bartholemew, and includes "Ain't That a Shame," "Blueberry Hill," "I'm Walkin'," "Blue Monday," and a whole lot more.
