Instead the crowd was treated to five hours of quality music with sets from Taj Mahal, Ozomatli, Keb Mo, Junior Brown, blues legend BB King, and Rock 'N Roll legends Chuck Berry and Little [...]

Well, good morning world. So to start my Sunday Mornings Under the Covers, I give you my favorite version of this oft-covered song. Trekking through the French Quarter and the Marigny; strolling by the mighty Mississippi; scampering alongside parades; dancing in clubs and all-night parties; and doing a joyful second-line strut wherever I happen to be standing at any given moment. But, with all due respect to the immort...
This is one of my favorite Fats Domino songs ever, about dealing with a no-account girlfriend. Fats even has to brush her teeth for her, and when he comes home she's lying in bed with a rag tied 'round her head. Fats shares the authorship with Dave Bartholomew and Chris Kenner. The song reached #22 on the pop charts in 1958.The members of Moby Grape, with the exception of drummer Don Stevenson,...
