Explosions In The Sky were sad when they were forced to cancel their European tour this summer due to illness in the family. Even though it would be impossible to recapture all the epic summer festivals, the band is in the process of lining up shows starting with the UK in January 2008. Holy shit! The 'Wall of Sound' festival in my very own backyard (Ft. Worth, TX) made some ripples in the wave of sonic news last year. A great line-up of bands (including Low, who rarely seem to venture this far south for some reason) converged for several days upon the historic Ridglea Theater.
