Erykah Badu (born Erica Abi Wright, February 26 1971, in Dallas, Texas) is an American neo-soul, R&B/hip hop artist whose work crosses over into jazz. She is best known for her singles "You Got Me," her collaboration with The Roots; as well as her own songs "Tyrone"; "Next Lifetime"; "On & On"; "Bag Lady"; and "Clevah." Alright, I know you're all going to get sick of me posting about Erykah but I just couldn't resist posting this live clip. I found this when I was putting together my Erykah post the other day. It's a great live version from a program called Soulstage on VH1 of the song "Honey" where she slows it down. It's so good.

This is my favorite song off her new album so far. I saw her perform this live at the Harmony Festival June '07 and she rocked the house with it! Such a interesting, minimal sound to the song, I'm just diggin' it.
