Nathan Mathers, the younger brother of Eminem is trying to break into the world of hip hop. He goes by the name "Nate Kane", and judging by this low budget video, he hasn't yet asked his older brother for any help. If I were him I'd ask to sit in on a few more studio sessions with Em before I went out into the wild.
The song is called "Slide On Over". What do you think?
Hip hop fans (especially those on the internet) would probably start a third world war of debates if Lil Wayne and Eminem ever did a song together. The arguments of who did better would be second only to "Takeover vs. Ether" in terms of how much it would potentially be discussed. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be in the works, because Lil Wayne revealed that Eminem brushed off his attempt to collaborate.

The drama between longtime friends and collaborators Eminem and Royce Da 5'9 has come to an end. Royce recently sat down with HipHopDX.com and gave them the exclusive on what was said, “I been talking to Em, I didn’t even really wanna tell nobody [yet]. That was kinda like a secret thing. I don’t really know where it’s gonna go. Right now we’re just really focusing on repairing the friendship. That’s the most important thing to me.”

There have been a heap of Eminem rumors lately, ranging from movie roles in "Jumper" and "Grand Theft Auto" to talks of him joining the WWE. Sooner or later one of them had to be true; Slim Shady is officially in the book business. According to XXL, Em is teaming up with Onion Books this fall to drop "The Way I Am'

The never ending feud between Eminem and his mother Debbie Nelson has started a new chapter. Nelson is set to release a tell all book titled 'My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem' which will reveal how the rapper is manic depressive. Nelson says his condition worsened after the birth of his daughter hailie.

1. The Gossip, "Hott Date." Probably the best opening act I ever saw, if by "opening act" you mean "someone not as famous as the headliner who comes on while people are standing around." I once saw Van Morrison and Lucinda Williams open for Bob Dylan, but neither of them are "opening acts." The Gossip's brand of lo-fi rockagrrrly is pretty good on record, but when they hit the stage, the wonders of Beth Ditto become immediately apparent. She's an amazing performer … the fi... MORE
No Bruce Springsteen songs, I promise. But we do start out with another artist with the initials "B.S." … 1. Britney Spears, "… Baby One More Time." Finished in the Top 20 in the Pazz & Jop poll. You could say that people like Britney bring scorn upon themselves … you could say she's too reliant on her production team. What you can't say is that this is a bad track. 2. TLC, "No Scrubs." This has perhaps a slightly better message for the young women in the audience. 3... MORE
When I first heard this song, I fell in love with Eminem again. I've been disappointed with his latest offerings, but hearing this old album, especially this song reminded me why I like him.
He is the voice of the people. Not the people. Rather, he speaks for people who were born on the wrong side of the tracks and just can't catch a break. Average people. People like me.
In his rhymes, he's able to put into words what so many of us feel in our darkest hours. Feelings that m... MORE
