I'm starting to feel that anything marketed under the 'extreme/noise' label shares more than a few traits with 'extreme sports'. Both seem primarily populated with conceited egotists who have somehow confused limited appeal with artistic boldness and believe in some kind of "transcendence" of conventional "rules" as a modus operandi.
