All Music GuideAlthough Ella Fitzgerald was a little past her prime at this point, the all-star group (which includes trumpeters Harry "Sweets" Edison and Clark Terry, the tenors of Zoot Sims and Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis, pianist Tommy Flanagan, guitarist Joe Pass, bassist Ray Brown and drummer Louie Bellson) inspire her to sing at her best for this late period.
