When was the last concert you went to? Real concert, big stage, lights and towering amps, not the local pub band. For me it was back in about 1993. I went to see ZZ Top in Milton Keynes with Bryan Adams supporting. The afternoon was taken up with Little Angels and Thunder (although we were late arriving due to a bust radiator). So after hearing the album Senor Smoke by the Electric Six I was rather dissappointed. Sure, it's kind of hard to top an album with a song called Gay Bar, but the Fire album still had some good albeit gimmicky tracks. Senor Smoke was just... trying too hard maybe? I'm not sure, but I never got into it. Maybe it was because Fire was gimmicky but it was still a fun rock album while Senor Smoke wasn't that catchy and the title track (Radio Ga Ga) was just meh. G´day. I should probably turn somewhere with this.. But I'm too tired and I just woke up - so I'll write it down here. The new Mog-O-Matic version, has it been bothering anyone else except me? I mean, it puts my newly added tracks as recently played and it doesn't autostart anymore. I think that's quite the buy-down since the last version was running so smoothly.. So why so much E6 lately? I totally associate this band with snowboarding, and winter's in the air up here. This is the tough part - everyone can tell summer's gone, but we have MONTHS to go before there's enough snow to get on the board after work. Back to AK from San Fran, lovin' being home.. Smells nicer. :) We have three houseguests from Australia sprawling about the house - jet lagged, but enthusiastic. My dryer broke! @#
$400 to repair - $600 for new.. hmm.
About to head to the theatre/pub with some friends to drink while watching Office Space on the silver screen - perfect way to enjoy Labor Day!! :D
