Mercury Prize winners Elbow have been gaining acclaimed endorsements from musical amigos like Radiohead, U2, Blur, R.E.M. and Velvet Underground's John Cale. I loved their timeless rendition of Massive Attack's "teardrop." Just in, their incredible cover of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black." Elbow's cover is a mournful yet memorable version of this song.

This song really just made made my day. By the time the choir kicks in I am already spent. What an intense song. It is just so errie and majestic at the same time.The video footage is taken from the Limited Edition of the Cast of Thousands record. Overall not the best record from Elbow. Asleep in the Back and Leaders of the Free World are stronger in my opinion.Enjoy!
