    The Valley

After a lukewarm Sophomore full-length, Eisley have released a four track EP entitled Fire Kites. The first half of the EP succeeds large in part to track number two, "The Valley"Kicking off with a jagged-yet-steady violin lead, the song thrives under the Dupree sisters calculated harmonies. Vocalist Stacy DuPree's delivery is near flawless [...]

Eisley _Combinations_

So I have looked around on here, looking to see if anyone has written anything on the new Eisley album, _Combinations_, and haven't found anything. I was curious as to whether anyone has heard it and what they think of it.To me, it sounds like they're a little pissed off at someone. The tone of the album is darker than _Room Noises_, and some of the lyrics suggest a less than pleasant relatio...

Eisley acoustic at the Crocodile

Eisley started off their very first acoustic tour in Seattle last night. It was a great show! Some highlights:1. It was my first time seeing the band live and I was pretty blown away by the girls' voices. Stacy Dupree could sing the Meow Mix jingle for two hours and I'm pretty sure I'd still pay $15 to hear it. 2. We got there just in time to grab two of the few rows of seats! Hooray for n...

Blog post image preview

I had to venture to a new area of downtown this morning, in order to meet with my lawyer about a speeding ticket I got (the third this year, egh) and ended up having a terrible morning, driving the wrong way on a one way street and getting lost looking for a bank. :/ Anyways, whilst driving (and crying. ha) I was listening to Eisley. An indie band from Tyler, Texas consisting of four sibl...
