WARMEST TO ALL. An End Has A Start. . . .

The definition of "emo" has been the subject of countless inquires, arguments and late night, coffee/Ritalin fueled discussions. Hell, even local news is getting in on the dialog (Jenny Tatone, you know what I'm sayin'.) Is it strictly defined by mopey teenagers with eyeliner, nautical star tattoos, lip piercings and shaggy bangs? I'm sure Hot Topic would like to think so. Maybe it has already been posted, but oh well, it is always a good time to post Editors multiple times. ;) Anyway, The Racing Rats vid is here, as it is going to be the new single of the band. Editors. not sure if any of you have heard of the group, but I have to tell ya, I'm really digging the tunes. to describe it i'd have to say it's New Wave meets Dead Can Dance. Groon, I think they'd be right up your ally. It's very sit in the dark with a drink and a cigar and mellow out. Groon it reminds me of hanging out with you and Elizabeth back in college. The second track from Editor's new album is around the net (in case you missed the first one, it's right here). And it's gorgeous. From the music, to The Voice, to the lyrics. "When you caught my eye, I saw everywhere I've been and wanna go" takes a place amongst my most romantic lyrics of all time. I don't have much more to say, I like it so much that I'm tongue-tied. Has anyone had the chance to listen to Editors' new single? I for one am utterly blown away. Music seems to contradict the lyrics, but it just seems to get the point across that much more. Editors recently played a sellout gig at the University Of East Anglia in Norwich on Monday, 1 October, 2007. The BBC has posted a collection of photos from the gig which can be viewed by CLICKING HERE. Words can't explain how much I love their music! I think they are one of the best bands live. It was actually a live performance that really peaked my interest, and I was thrilled to find that they were making their way to Vancouver. Tom Smith is totally captivating to watch in action. I'll rave a little more later... Like I said...no words! Maybe I'll be able to manage a review after the gig, but I think all that will leave these lips is WOW!!!

As much as I hate to say it as someone who really enjoyed Editors' debut album, I'm quite disappointed.
