Translation - Love anyone and have it all torn away from you, over and over and over again.
Watched this film tonight with my mom on our 10 ft screen. Wow! Nothing like being totally depressed while watching a film and NOT being able to just get up and leave.
A great film that chronicles a completely hard and trying life. She seemed to embody that Japanese proverb "Fall down seven, get up eight."

If you have never heard the voice of Edith Piaf then I urge you to listen to perhaps "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien" or "Milord" a couple of my favourites and big hits in her day. Sure it's old fashioned and dated in style but look past that and simply glory in Edith's voice. Talk about balls this lady had the original pair. I have lots of Edith Piaf music but until I get to transfer them to mp3s I can't upload any sadly. Listen to that voice and you will not be disappoin... MORE
